Christmas Day in Wilmington 2011

Mom speaking:  We spent a "fabulous" hour talking with our missionary.  It was great to hear her voice and know that she is doing well.  Since she has been out I have not asked about her broken foot--no news is good news.  Well, I asked.  Her foot is fine, her leg gets tired, but all is well.   She had a baptism on Christmas Day.  She has a new companion from Hawaii and they get along great.  The other one went home to Australia--just in time for Christmas.

Here are a few photos of Christmas Day...

The tree came in a box and was perfect for a missionary...she received lots of treats!  Thanks.

We wrapped one of her gifts in $1 bills, she loved it...laundry money or for fruit.

The best part of the day...a baptism of a new member!

People in Delaware

Sister Stamm and her companion dressed up as Elders for Halloween.
They either had to stay in or be with members.  They stayed with members.

Me with my friend Effie where we do service each week.  She is our favorite and loves to see us.
She always screams "Sisters! My Sisters!"  It was her birthday.

And the man is Kurtie.  He loves to play scrabble and glares at you when you are beating him.
It is a lot of fun.  They always make me smile.

The baptism of a Family!

The people in Delaware are great!

Funny Story

Funny story-from Sister Stamm's letter today....
Our car tail lights were not working so we were good little missionaries and reported it to the service elders.  They drove all the way down, had the members let them in the apartment and searched through my stuff for the keys and then called us asking if we turned the knob that turns them on.  They were laughing so hard.  I think if the headlights come on by themselves then the tail lights should too.  Stupid Fords. That is just my personal opionon though.

Just a few MTC memories-

This is me and Grandpa Evans.  He is a male model.  Really.

Yay for friends who really can understand what you are going through.  We took this picture thirty seconds after we met.
